Mara was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she first fell in love with the craft of hair. Twenty years later, that same island warmth still shapes every appointment in her chair.
Now based in Apex, North Carolina, she brings two decades of color and cutting experience to a small, unhurried unisex studio built around one client at a time — and everyone is welcome in her chair.

Clients
- New to Mara? We start with a consultation so she can look at your hair, hear what you want, and plan the right service for you.
- The $25 only applies if a strand test is needed — it comes out of the deposit you pay when you book, and it goes toward your service.
- If no strand test is needed, Mara can talk with you and plan your service through messages — no charge, no visit required.
- If you’re coming in for a consultation with a strand test, plan on about 30 minutes.

Booking Policy
A $25 deposit is required to hold every appointment. It goes toward the price of your service.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late adds a $25 late fee, and the deposit becomes non-refundable. The service may need to be rescheduled.
